Publisher: Tavlyn. This policy covers the local-first Tavlyn web, Android, and iOS apps and the public marketing website.
Local app data
Tavlyn does not require an account. Game names, player names or nicknames, settings, balances, and ledger history remain in the app’s local database. The current app has no advertising, analytics, tracking, telemetry, cloud sync, or runtime dependency on the optional Tavlyn service.
Your operating system may separately include local app data in a platform cloud backup or device-to-device transfer, depending on your device and account settings. The Tavlyn developer cannot access that platform-managed copy.
In the web app, games remain in the browser profile for app.playtavlyn.com. Clearing that site’s data removes its games, and browser policy or storage eviction can make local data unavailable. The web, Android, and iOS apps do not automatically synchronize; export backups you want to keep or move.
User-controlled backups
Import and export occur only after you choose a file. Native apps use the device document picker; the web app uses browser upload and download controls. A backup has an integrity checksum but is readable JSON, not encrypted confidential storage.
This website
The marketing website serves static information only. It has no account, form, advertising, analytics, or tracking script. The separate web app downloads executable files but keeps game data in local browser storage. Standard network providers may process request metadata needed to deliver either site and protect the service.
Deletion and support
Delete a local game permanently through Game settings after confirmation. Exported files and platform backups must be deleted separately where they are stored.
Support receives only the contact details and message you provide. Ordinary closed-case correspondence is deleted or de-identified within 90 days unless a security issue or legal duty requires longer retention. Contact privacy@playtavlyn.com.
